Devon McCaw

Devon is the President of JDS-Drilling & Blasting, the JDS Group’s surface drilling and blasting company. With over 25+ years in the industry, Devon’s experience is wide ranging and includes surface drilling, blasting, grouting and piling in support of projects of all sizes. He has extensive experience working throughout Canada, notably delivering success in the challenging weather Canada’s north brings. Devon’s drilling and blasting experience includes residential, commercial, and support to government agencies, and range from blasting, grouting, piling, rock reinforcement, environmental drilling, and industry training. His enthusiasm, drive and determination to get the job done safely, on time, and on budget has been key to his success. Devon has also supervised large scale controlled drilling and blasting projects on pipeline construction throughout BC, as well as grouting programs including the De Beers’ Diavik Mine dam grouting, North American Construction Group’s NTCP Bluefish Hydro Dam, and Hudbay Mining’s portal curtain grout in Flin Flon to name a few.
